What we know, not who we are

There is no team page on this site, deliberately. This page is the substitute: the four engineering domains we work in every day, in enough detail to judge us by.

Maritime regulatory knowledge

The IMO instrument stack — SOLAS, MARPOL, and the decarbonization measures built on them: CII, EEXI, FuelEU Maritime. We read these as engineers: as specifications to implement, with edge cases, transition timelines and verification requirements. Our compliance tools are built from the instrument text, not from summaries of it.

CII · EEXI · FuelEU · SOLAS · MARPOL · ISGOTT · OCIMF

Vessel data infrastructure

AIS streams, noon reports, sensor feeds, ERP records, port activity data — each incomplete and each formatted differently per fleet. Our core competence is unifying them into vessel and voyage models that stay reliable when the data is late, noisy or missing, because at sea it always is.

Maritime AI / ML systems

AI systems whose inputs and failure modes are understood, built for a domain where a wrong answer has consequences. Retrieval systems grounded in regulatory text, prediction models trained on operational history, and decision-support tools that show their reasoning — engineered ground-up on maritime data, not adapted from generic templates.

Decarbonization engineering

Quantifying what actually reduces emissions on an existing ship: retrofit benefit modeling, emissions accounting, energy-efficiency measures — validated against tank tests and sea trials rather than manufacturer claims. This is the discipline behind SeaO2 and our ESG consultancy.
